There are various white water rafting services in the area. Royal Gorge Rafting is one of our favorites, they can be found at their site. The other three listed below are closer to the cabin. Water rafting is a great activity for family, business retreats, team building, etc.
Colorado is well-known for winter sports, particularly snowboarding and skiing. Take on the slopes at Monarch mountain, Breck's Five Peaks, Telluride or Vail.
Visit Downtown Salida for some local activities. Don't forget to visit Fiesta Mexicana, one of the favorite local dining spots.
